Epic Namibia

Namibia, Victoria Falls & Okavango journey

An overland odyssey through Namibia, Victoria Falls and the Okavango, from desert wildlife and thundering water to the canyon country of the deep south. The last great morning belongs to Deadvlei, when black camel-thorn trees stand against white clay and sunlit dunes.

Designer's note

My dream journey through Namibia

If I could make one great overland journey in southern Africa, this is the road I would take. You begin where the Namib meets the Atlantic, follow wildlife and river country to Victoria Falls and the Okavango, then return through the Kalahari and deep south. At the final sunrise, Deadvlei's black trees stand on white clay beneath sunlit dunes.

Epic Namibia FAQ

Planning Epic Namibia

Q01Can one vehicle complete the whole route?

Not always. I confirm cross-border rental permissions and combine vehicle sections or private transfers when one contract cannot cover the full circle.

Q02When is the best time for the full circle?

Usually during the cooler dry months, but Victoria Falls flow and Okavango flood levels vary. I balance water, wildlife and desert heat around your dates.

Q03How demanding is the journey?

It includes remote roads and several long crossings, balanced by multi-night stays. I shape the driving and arranged sections around your confidence.
