Seven baobabs rise together beside Kudiakam Pan, recognizable from Thomas Baines' 1862 paintings and far older than that record.
Their mass gives the salt-pan country a human scale: shade, bark and living tissue against a surface defined by distance.

Access follows current park roads and protection rules; visitors should avoid roots and any behavior that damages the trees.
The trees are the destination, but reaching them is part of a wider Nxai Pan drive whose duration depends on road conditions.
