Fish River Canyon cuts through a high desert plateau in long bends, side ravines and exposed layers that no single viewpoint can explain.
A rim walk links several perspectives while a guide or field notes trace faulting, erosion and the river that still shapes the canyon after rain.

The public eastern viewpoints and Fish River Lodge's western rim are different routes; the itinerary must name and secure one access side.
Only on marked or guided ground. Loose rock, wind and unprotected drops require disciplined distance.
