Cueva de las Manos preserves an exceptional sequence of paintings made between roughly 9,300 and 1,300 years ago within the deep Río Pinturas canyon.
The guided route connects layered hand stencils, animals and hunting scenes to changing hunter-gatherer lives without assigning unsupported meanings.
