The experience
Kalamaja grew beside Tallinn's railway and harbour, filling with painted timber houses, workshops and workers' yards outside the medieval walls.
The walk joins those streets to Telliskivi's reused factory buildings and Balti Jaam Market, making Tallinn's contemporary life as legible as its Old Town.
