Tallinn Medieval Days
During Tallinn Medieval Days, you follow the procession through the UNESCO-listed Hanseatic old town, meet craftspeople in hidden courtyards and hear music inside the city walls.

I design journeys to places of power for those who want to travel deeper
Estonia special event · Three days in July, in and around Town Hall Square
For a few days each July, a medieval market fills Tallinn's Town Hall Square while craftspeople work and early music sounds beneath the old town towers. Workshops put tools and traditional materials into your hands before evening performances begin.
Designer's note
I begin with the craftspeople and workshops because making something places you inside the festival. You use the quieter morning for the market and return after dusk when music and fire performances change the square.

Event FAQ
The festival runs for a few days each July — the 2026 edition is July 10–12. The organizers set each year's dates; when you share yours, I check the official program before anything else is booked.
If your dates are flexible in July, yes — it is the old town at its most alive. I usually pair it with a longer route: the festival as the opening chapter, the deeper country after.

Tell me what draws you — floodwater, islands, winter darkness, food — and when you can travel. I will shape the route around it.
