Tallinn Christmas Market
At Tallinn Christmas Market, you taste Estonian winter food in medieval Town Hall Square and walk the UNESCO-listed old town after candlelight reaches its lanes and towers.

I design journeys to places of power for those who want to travel deeper
Estonia special event · Late November through the holidays, on Town Hall Square
From late November through the holidays, a great tree and craft stalls fill Tallinn's medieval Town Hall Square. Winter darkness arrives early, giving the market hours of warm light beneath the old town towers.
Designer's note
I would give Tallinn one glowing market evening, then continue into the winter countryside. A frozen bog walk or cold Baltic coast followed by sauna heat turns the city celebration into a fuller Estonia journey.

From late November through the holidays — the organizers set exact opening and closing dates each year, and I check the official calendar when you share your dates.
A short winter escape into the country: Lahemaa's frozen coast, an empty winter road, a sauna evening. The market is Tallinn at its most festive; the countryside in December is Estonia at its most private.
