A few times a decade, tens of thousands of singers stand on one stage and a nation fills the field in front of it. Estonia's Song and Dance Celebration is the largest thing the country does — the next one is June 30 to July 9, 2028.

Plan early for the singing field
I would build the entire Estonia journey around the moment tens of thousands of voices rise together on the singing field. The dates are rare and fixed, so early planning protects the celebration, the procession and meaningful days beyond Tallinn.

For 2028, start a year or more ahead. Tallinn fills completely for the celebration week — stays, tables, everything. The good news: a trip planned that carefully deserves the rest of Estonia around it, and I build exactly that.
