Pärnu experience

Sail Pärnu Bay at sunset

Leave the resort promenade by sailboat and look back across Pärnu's long beach as the shallow bay catches the last light.

The experience

See Estonia's summer capital from the water

Pärnu became Estonia's summer resort because of its broad beach and exceptionally shallow bay. From the water, that geography is immediately clear.

A sunset sail turns the coast from a background into the main experience and gives the resort day a quieter finish.

Experience FAQ

Sail Pärnu Bay at sunset

Q01How long is the sail?

Most bay outings take roughly two hours, enough to clear the river mouth and see the beach and town from open water.

Q02Is sailing experience required?

No. This is a passenger outing; the skipper controls the boat and sets the route for the conditions.

Plan with Alex

Plan your Pärnu day

I design Estonia as a small-country journey: fewer stops, more time in each, and enough slack for weather, ferry timetables, and dinners that run long.

Tell me what draws you — floodwater, islands, winter darkness, food — and when you can travel. I will shape the route around it.

Portrait of Alex

Estonia changes with the calendar: spring water fills Soomaa's forests, midsummer fires burn through the white night and late summer brings Peipsi onions to roadside stalls. I plan around the moment you most want to experience.
