Walk inside the vast brick mill complex that once employed thousands on an island in the Narva River, tracing the factory, workers' town and industrial force that reshaped Narva.
The experience
Kreenholm was not simply a factory building. The textile enterprise occupied a river island and generated mills, housing and institutions on a scale that changed Narva's population and physical form.
Inside the gates, long brick façades and empty production spaces make that scale unavoidable. A museum guide restores the workers, machines, labor conflicts and border politics to a complex that would otherwise read only as monumental ruin.

No. The factory complex is controlled and visits take place through Narva Museum's scheduled or prearranged tours.
Standard tours include dusty and uneven industrial surfaces; the Joala cellar-to-tower route adds more stairs and requires stronger mobility.
